Join us for another incredible Open Mic, at the excellent Wellington Hotel in Seaford, featuring the fantastic Helen Pirie as our Guest Poet.
Feel daunted? Don’t worry – there’s no need to read if you don’t want to – come and enjoy the evening with a drink, and listen to excellent poetry.
Why not arrive early and get some food beforehand, too? Make an evening of it.
We’ll have plenty of slots for open mic’ers, if you do want to read (the more the merrier), and an excellent set by Helen.
For Helen, poetry has always been a means of channeling thoughts and feelings to make sense of them, without ever considering that these could be shared with others one day.
Having stumbled by chance on the world of poetry open mics, Helen’s writings are well-received and relatable.
