Nicholas Royle is a writer and public speaker based in Seaford. He writes fiction, memoir and criticism. His published books include the novels Quilt and An English Guide to Birdwatching, and the memoir Mother, as well as hybrid works such as Telepathy and Literature, The Uncanny and David Bowie, Enid Blyton and the Sun Machine.
