Come and join Seahaven Poets at the Wellington in Seaford – read or recite some of your work, listen to the other open mic’ers (or a bit of both), get a drink and take it all in.
Our guest poet this evening will be Robin Houghton.
Robin is the author of four poetry pamphlets, most recently Why? And Other Questions, joint winner of the Live Canon Pamphlet Competition 2019.
Awards include the Poetry Society’s Hamish Canham Prize. Her poetry is published in many magazines including The Rialto, Mslexia, Ink, Sweat & Tears, The Frogmore Papers, Magma and Under the Radar. Non-fiction books include A Guide to Getting Published in UK Poetry Magazines (Telltale, 2020) and Blogging for Creatives (Ilex, 2014). She has also written a historical novel The Waiting Flames, yet to find a publisher! With Peter Kenny, Robin co-hosts the podcast Planet Poetry, about to start its fifth season.
