We invite you to immerse yourself in the world of poetry and spend an afternoon in the beautiful downland village of Alfriston.
The event offers an array of activities which includes:
– The chance to meet local poets
– A Poetry Competition where you can submit your own poem in advance for judging (this is optional)
– Discussion group to review, discuss & vote for the shortlisted poems
– Talk plus Q&A on “how to get your poetry published”
– Poetry Podcast session
– Live music
– Book sale
– Light refreshments
– Followed by Open Mic evening at Six Bells Pub next door with optional supper deal (£17.50 per head) vegetarian available
